The Project
Texan Gone Tica is a creative blog meant to serve as a digital travel diary reflecting and expanding upon the experiences of one student while studying abroad for 9 days in Costa Rica.
Each article aims to give readers insight on the complex knowledge that students gained during the course, ranging from economic sustainability initiatives and eco-tourism opportunities, to the dynamic relationships formed between students as they became teammates and friends, to just-plain-cute baby animal sightings in the rainforest. Ultimately, Texan Gone Tica is exactly what it sounds like: how one Texas girl became a Tica, told through tales of adventure, amazement, and cultural immersion. So howdy, y'all--welcome to my blog--and Pura Vida. |
